WALES'S CHILD BENEFIT

Universal government assistance
The child assistance payment is a form of financial assistance paid to all eligible families with one or more dependent children under the age of 18 living with them.
The amount varies from one family to another
The amount of the child assistance payment varies from one family to another. It is determined on the basis of the following factors:
the family income, (this refers to the combined total of both spouses' incomes) the number of dependent children under the age of 18 living with the beneficiary, the type of family, (single-parent or two-parent) and the child's custody situation (shared or not)
The beneficiaries must notify the Régie of any change in their family situation in order to receive the amounts to which they are entitled.

The discs debacle illustrates another British failure that greatly effects the lives of Welsh people.
Better for powers over benefit payments and revenue collection to be transferred to the Senedd to meet the specific needs of Welsh families not a British cost cutting service. Quebec takes care of its own business, so should we.
