POLICE - UNION

EuroCOP - 30 Police Staff Organisations from 23 Countries - 500,000 police employees

The Scots, Irish, Catalans, Basques, Swedes and Finns for example already have Organisations representing their members on a European level. No reason then for Wales to be left out when Policing is devolved and should Welsh Police Officers wish it.

Police officers take many personal risks to serve the public. They are entitled to ask their authorities to research and minimise possible and foreseeable risks.

EuroCOP works on the European level to assure high safety standards for police officers and encourages research into reducing health and welfare risks for police officers as much as possible.
